45 Min Class
Tuesdays @ 10:15
This class is designed to make musical materials available to children through group music making and exploration. We will greet children and their favorite grown-ups with a musical provocation, an invitation to engage with a material and explore in their own way.
After an open-ended time of exploration, the class will sing, chant, move, and play together using high-quality musical literature and developmentally appropriate strategies from the First Steps in Music curriculum. Adults in children’s lives will learn to
notice, interpret, and facilitate children’s natural musical play in class and at home. Come explore the Music Makers Studio!
